- San Antonio Riverwalk: The city's top attraction is an easy walk from Kimpton Santo. Stroll along the pedestrian-only sidewalk, which runs alongside the river a level below the automobile street, to find gardens, shops, restaurants, and historical sites.
- The Alamo: A Spanish mission founded in 1878, the Alamo rose to prominence in the 1836 Battle of the Alamo, a turning point in the Texas Revolution. Highlights include the Alamo Church, the Long Barrack, and a living history encampment that brings you back to life in the 1830s.
- San Fernando Cathedral: The oldest standing church building in Texas dates back to the 1730s and was constructed in Gothic Revival style. On Tuesday through Sunday, you can see a video art installation projected on the exterior that tells the story of San Antonio's history.
